BFL Canada – Group Insurance Plan
This professional and general liability program is available to members of the
Canadian Naturological Association / Association Canadienne de Naturologie (CNA-ACN)
through an online platform administered by the broker/insurer. Coverage eligibility and premiums depend on the
member’s declared modalities and their classification by the insurer.

Insurance Reimbursement
Some Canadian insurance plans may reimburse claims for services provided by CNA-ACN members, depending on the policy, province, and practitioner qualifications. Coverage varies by plan; clients should confirm benefits with their insurer before treatment as there is no guarantee.
For verification purposes, insurers and the public may confirm a member’s status through the Association’s official verification process. Qualified members shall be issued a digital Membership Certificate specifying their membership level, verified practice hours, and, where applicable, an association-awarded title credential.
Title Credentials
CNA-ACN may confer association-awarded title credentials aligned with a member’s education and experience. For naming consistency only, the Association may reference National Occupational Classification (NOC) terminology maintained by the Government of Canada. NOC codes are not licenses or government endorsements.
One association title credential is included with membership for alumni of approved schools. Members from non-approved schools may request additional review for $50 annually per title to cover verification and administrative costs.
Approved CEU Provider
Members may apply to be listed as a CNA-ACN Approved CEU Provider. Approved providers are recognized by the
Association for delivering continuing education to our members (this is an Association recognition and not a government accreditation).

Legal Support
CNA-ACN may provide members with access to information resources and, where appropriate, seek legal counsel on matters that affect the Association or its membership (e.g., alleged discrimination or anti-competitive practices). The Association determines any legal engagements on a case-by-case basis and does not create an individual lawyer-client relationship between counsel and members unless expressly agreed.
Advocacy & Government Relations
CNA-ACN intends to engage in advocacy, including government relations and lobbying, to improve access to nature-based preventative wellness care across Canada. Our policy positions may include advocating for HST relief on eligible services provided by our members, where permitted by law. Advocacy goals are aspirational and not guarantees of regulatory outcomes.
Naturological care shouldn’t be a luxury in the 21st century!
Disclosure: CNA-ACN is a federally incorporated, not-for-profit professional association. Association membership,
recognitions, and title credentials are Association-awarded and do not imply government licensure or a provincially
regulated title. Insurance coverage and reimbursement depend on individual policies and insurer criteria.
